Arizona Arts Live and Broadway in Tucson invite you to embark on an inter-dimensional journey across the multiverse with Miles Morales in Spider-Man™: Across the Spider-Verse in Concert. Watch a screening of this Oscar-winning film as a full orchestra, a skilled scratch DJ on turntables, as well as percussion and electronic instrumentalists, perform the film’s iconic score.
Building on the success of the sold-out global shows of the first Oscar®-winning Spider-Man™ animated Spider-Verse film, comes the highly anticipated sequel: SPIDER-MAN™: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE, set to captivate audiences in concert venues worldwide.
These films have garnered immense popularity, largely due to their groundbreaking soundtracks praised for their innovative fusion of orchestral and electronic elements alongside scratch DJ techniques.
The upcoming spectacle will feature the movie showcased on a colossal HD screen, complemented by a diverse ensemble of musicians and instrumentalists performing the film’s iconic score and soundtrack live. This extraordinary lineup includes a full orchestra, a skilled scratch DJ on turntables, as well as percussion and electronic instrumentalists.

Coco: Live-to-Film Concert
You’re invited to an unforgettable live concert experience featuring the Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México with Coco: Live-to-Film Concert! Catch a full screening of this Best Animated Feature alongside a 20-member musical group known for its ability to fuse pre-Hispanic instruments with instruments from the colonial era live in Centennial Hall.
Disney Pixar’s Coco Live-to-Film Concert on Tour features a screening of the complete film with Oscar® and Grammy®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s musical score performed by the 20-member Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México. In addition to the original score by Giacchino, “Coco” also features the Oscar®-winning song “Remember Me” by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco and co-director and screenwriter Adrian Molina.
The Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México of the Ballet Folclórico Nacional de México by Silvia Lozano, is a musical group that stands out for its ability to fuse pre-Hispanic instruments with instruments from the colonial era, thus creating a unique and distinctive sound that evokes the rich history and culture of Mexico. This orchestra is made up of expert musicians who are highly trained in the interpretation of a wide variety of genres and styles of Mexican folk music, such as Mariachi music, Jarana music, Son music, and Huapango music, among others. Among the instruments used are traditional pre-Hispanic drums, such as the “Huehuetl “and “Tepobaztli”, as well as flutes, “Ocarinas,” guitars, violins, double basses, and other stringed instruments that date back to colonial times.

Arizona Arts Live and Broadway in Tucson invite you to an unforgettable live concert experience you can’t miss with Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert. Join us for a special two-hour recap of the animated series’ three seasons with original dialogue and sound effects alongside live orchestral renditions of the beloved soundtrack.
Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert presents a live orchestral rendition of the series’ iconic soundtrack, paired with a nearly two-hour special recap of the animated series’ three seasons displayed on a full-size cinema screen. The projection will feature the original dialogue and sound effects without any pre-recorded music, allowing the live orchestra to perform the legendary score live and in perfect sync with the show scenes. The result? A truly immersive and grandiose concert experience that breathes new life into Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Just as “Avatar: The Last Airbender” masterfully blends Chinese culture with anime and American cartoon styles, an orchestra especially handpicked for this event will harmoniously combine Eastern and Western musical traditions – a symphonic fusion that faithfully reflects the signature sound of the Avatar saga. Taiko drums and erhus will share the spotlight with violins and clarinets, while the series’ fan-favorite scenes are presented in chronological order on the film screen, breathing life into Aang’s liberating quest in an epic and authentic way.
The creative mastermind behind the show’s original music, award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman, has poured his heart and exceptional talent into reimagining and expanding the show’s soundtrack specially for this event. Through the creative collaboration with Jeff Adams (the show’s original editor) and under the artistic guidance of the show’s creators, Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, this spectacular production not only magnifies the essence of the series, but also marks a groundbreaking moment – the very first opportunity for the audience to immerse themselves in the captivating world of Avatar: The Last Airbender through a live experience.
