Arizona Arts Live will present Blind Summit Theatre’s internationally acclaimed production, The Sex Lives of Puppets, February 25–28, 2026, at Marroney Theatre.
Following celebrated engagements in London, Chicago, and around the world, The Sex Lives of Puppets arrives in Southern Arizona as part of Arizona Arts Live’s ongoing commitment to presenting bold, globally recognized performances that spark conversation and invite new perspectives.
Blending masterful puppetry with candid reflections on intimacy, vulnerability, and connection, the production draws from real-world conversations about relationships and desire. What begins with a provocative premise unfolds as a layered and often unexpectedly tender exploration of modern human experience.
Four fearless puppeteers perform in full view of the audience, animating a diverse cast of characters while blurring the line between performer and puppet. The result is technically precise and emotionally immediate. Critics have praised the work for balancing irreverent humor with compassion and insight, noting its ability to surprise audiences who arrive curious and leave moved.
